At Peace
I want to thank everyone for their encouragement, support and prayers.
Our cat Little Girl is finally at peace. We had her put to sleep this afternoon after an agonizing discussion, a lot of prayer and acceptance that we could not save her nor could we spare her more pain.
We did what anyone should do for someone they love - we let her go.
We are still quite upset about being unable to heal her, but we understand that it is the order of life's cycle. We truly enjoyed our time with her. She was a stubborn little monkey that hissed and growled to the very end. LOL She had a unique personality and a list of rules that we had to abide by. I confess that we didn't do a very good job at following them.
In Little Girl's eyes we were the monkeys.

Here's something that's helped me when I've lost a fur kid...

I'm SO sorry to hear that lovely one and on your birthday too. :'(
max has a huge lump on his tummy near his backlegs. I'm worried but it doesn't seem to be bothering him so I'm going to keep him home until Tuesday - that way it won't be a public holiday rate and I can spend more on getting him fixed if I have to. *BIG WINCE*.
I'm so sorry for your loss guys but you've done the right thing. xx
