As of 9:00 a.m. today Verizon had successfully solved my SMS issues at work. I can now send/receive text messages while at work and all the Verizon corporate customers were happy. Everyone began texting each other throughout corporate that we were up and breathing a collective sigh of relief.
Since Email-gate 2007 texting is our sole outlet and if we can't do that, how the hell are we supposed to survive???
I must say that Verizon showed excellent follow up, if occasionally slow at times. They phoned me back after hours when they said they would. They were patient and excellent about identifying themselves and disclosing their location. I have no intention of defecting even though I am no longer under contract.
