The Wire HBO Series
We've finally viewed all of season four on DVD rental. I couldn't watch season five (the current season) without being caught up on what's happened to the characters and the story. It's not too hard to do either since the entire season is only like thirteen episodes. Remember back when a television season was comprised by 26 episodes?
Since The Wire's ending its run this year and HBO doesn't have programming I find compelling, it will be interesting to see how they fill the void. Will see more film releases of recent productions and less original programming? Original programming is what HBO prided itself on. It will be interesting.
