Who is the cheapest person you know? (Not frugal... just annoyingly cheap!)

My co-worker SG, she could squeeze blood out of a turnip. She always butts in on convo about dining out and socializing, etc. and is the first to inquire about cost. Once she hears a meal is priced at $17 she's not interested. God forbid the drink is over $2.00 because she's not paying it! LOL Of course, I'm thinking to myself "Why do you bother asking?" as I watch her lips moving.
In the distance we heard sirens, as the string quartet continued setting up. We remained motionless at the bar, uncertain where to move to. Finally the owner instructed everyone to cautiously and slowly exit as they were having an electrical fire.
Our martinis were pretty strong and drinking on an empty stomach (don't forget we were waiting to dine) left us both unfit to drive. We each remembered having left over lunch, we had each saved a portion for the other to share, so we sat in the parking lot eating leftovers, watching the emergency personnel and thinking about our bad luck! LOL
Which saying do you believe to be true, but just can't seem to follow?

"Do unto others as you would have them to unto to you."
It's way easier said than done. In the heat of the moment the best intentions fly out the window!
Many times when I least expect it I am reminded of how precarious some peoples lives are. Case in point, my co-worker SG who is a cutter and apathetic about life. What keeps her going and on key is repetition and routine - a regiment. Having just returned from 2-1/2 weeks vacation I inquired if she enjoyed it and observed that she seemed to fair it well.
SG said that although she had indeed survived, it wasn't without a lot of agitation at the loss of routine. It seems her husband hadn't set a schedule, a daily plan if you will, and she ended up making several phone calls to her therapist.
SG was dead serious. I looked at the workplace and realized that her work routine was not as she had left it. Feeling empathy for her plight, I immediately put things in place and felt better.
It must be hard to live within a regiment at every moment. It must be even harder to admit to others.
When was the last time you felt butterflies in your stomach?
When Boo had cataract surgery and I was alone in the waiting room trying to keep busy and not allow my mind to wander.
Show us some photos and/or videos you took at a concert.

Every summer my town has Summer Jubilee where live concerts are the menu on a Saturday night. We're known for getting quality talent and, since they're free, folks come from all over to listen, have fun and just plain hang out. Last night John Kay of Steppenwolf performed and his concert was surprisingly political as he spoke about supporting our troops, our need to hold politicians' feet to the fire in pursuit of maintaining our freedoms, etc.
In addition to John Kay we also saw Chuck Negron of seventies band Three Dog Night. He sounded surprisingly good after such a long hiatus from stage. His voice was strong and all the songs that he originally sang lead on sounded like the records. He does need to improve his stage presence and it's just as well that he was the opening act.
Last but not least, we also saw Felix Cavailer's Rascals (It's a Beautiful Morning, Groovin') and he totally brought the house to its feet with everyone singing, clapping, snapping and dancing. They sang a medley of tunes even venturing into Led Zep's Whole Lotta Love which was shockingly decent.
