What compliment are you most often given? I am a very good listener and trustworthy. I don't divulge what's been confided.
What's the best thing about today?
The work day will soon end and I can go to my refuge...home. This dumb ass manager is making me nuts this week!
If you asked my mom she'd tell you that her one year old Sony HD LCD TV is the spawn of satan with its convoluted remote. Add in the cable TV with its remote and she is confused.
Mom phoned me at work last week to explain that the cable was out - the TV showed only snow. I asked her to check the bedroom TV and tell me if it looked the same, it didn't so I knew it wasn't the cable.
I visited mom this weekend, requested the Sony remote, which involved ten minutes of explanation, secured the correct remote and changed the TV channel from 5 to 3 and voila! picture showing clear.
Technology's become too advanced and challenging for senior citizens. We'll be seniors someday, how will we adapt?
We shopped at Bed, Bath & Beyond Saturday and I was excited to find they carried the Ott brand of natural lighting.
After doing the math, Ott lamps are always pricey even if worth it, I used a 20% off coupon and saved $8.
I set it up this morning once I figured out WHICH device to disconnect from the octopus of wires beneath my desk!
He's starting again as of today becoming obsessed with numbers and stats to bolster his chart and expand his chest over. Never mind that his stats are hallow and can't stand on their own because they lack real meat.
Ogre sent his point man, the supervisor, in to give us the new drill and was more than happy to remain seated behind his desk cowering. It's all good because we've decided we're not changing the status quo and if we don't change, well - he'll have to come up with a new plan! LOL
If you could teleport to any place in the world right this second, where would you go?
I'd go to Italy and lose myself!
A homeowner in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles has erected this giant bug in his yard. Why is beyond my comprehension, the thing's an eyesore and I know the neighbors cant's happy. A co-worker kept telling me about it and she finally took me to see it. The overcast dreariness of the day suited this trip!
