There will never be a more gentle feline than my little guy. He gave me so much while asking nothing in return. I'm so thankful that I have so many photos of him.

Today marks one week without him. I still can't believe it.

10 000 mile Tune Up

It's time for the Camry to be tuned so I came to the dealer after work. Half expected it to be empty - surprise, it's busy.

No Saturday morning appointments available for next three weekends and don't want to take time off work to get car serviced on work day.

Listening to podcasts as I wait. As long my stomach doesn't growl I won't be embarrassed!

He died at 11:40 a.m. today as I held him. His vet came to the office on Easter to relieve him of his pain and am very thankful to her for doing so. My little guy would have suffered and hung on for me if I would have allowed it, but how could I? It was up to me to take care of him and since he could no longer hold down food and stopped drinking water, it was time. There was nothing more that I could do for him. He would not have survived surgery and, once opened, the cancer would likely have spread like wildfire.

Well I know what's ailing my little guy, he has pancreatic cancer with multiple organ failure ensuing.

My little guy's been through a lot healthwise. He never got a break as a kitten so the Lord brought us together, because He knew he'd need lots of medical care and I would try my best. I am watching video podcasts as I wait.

What one object/thing would you take if your house were on fire?

My notebook computers and iPod. If I can carry more electronics then that's what I'm saving. Of course, these are inanimate objects. Naturally family (including Nobuku) would come first.

Another fantastic day with temps in the 70s. Unfortunately I can't wear sandals at work, but vacation's around the corner! I have been tired and am ready.

How often do you call your parents? I talk to my mom about every other day for an average of 20 minutes up to an hour. I know I'm fortunate to have my mother to call.
