Clothing, dinners, make-up, or gadgets... We all have things we like to splurge on. What do you think you buy too much of? That's easy, I buy way too many gadgets and tech-related stuff. I love integrating technology in my life and I need to try new and intriguing things.
What are you most looking forward to this week? What are you least looking forward to?
The end of the week is what I'm pining for because then my vacation starts!
Least exciting this weekare a dental and doctor appointments on separate days.
What is the quickest false assumption people make about you?
Submitted by JJ.They assume that because I'm very polite I am a pushover or very gullible. It's their first and last mistake.
There is a natural disaster headed your way. You get 4 standard sized canvas grocery totes to fill with valuables and provisions to bring with you to a safe place. What would you put into your 4 bags and why?

- Extra clothing (undergarments) and money because I don't know how long I'll be without shelter
- Food (human & cat) and medications so we can provide for ourselves as best we can
- Important papers because we always need them to establish accounts, etc.
- Photos and laptops because they're precious and the latter provides connectivity for research, news, etc.
What question do you hate being asked?
Why are you so quiet? It is my nature to be the silent type so I'm thinking, "why is today different from any other day that you're asking?" It's usually a gal named Stephanie who asks and she talks incessantly about nothing.
How and when do you reward yourself?
Submitted by Rainbird.
I reward myself when the mood strikes because I don't always want or need something when I've earned a reward. I'll make a mental note of an accomplished goal or well executed task and when I do see something I like, if I can associate a reward at that moment, then I buy it!
What most excites you about the way you're living your life right now?
That I'm living it honestly within my means and, for the most part, am happy and content. I still miss Buddah terribly and think about him everyday. I haven't removed his photos from my desk or computer wallpaper. God has truly blessed my household and those I love and I honestly cannot complain.
How are you celebrating the 4th of July?
Spending day with family BBQing and having good time. We'll watch the neighbors fireworks, many of them have bought illegal stuff, and keeping an eye on the house! Sad but true.
I'll never understand why others are so eager and willing to take enormous risks with illegal fireworks, especially with all the fires Californians have experienced throughout the state in 2008 alone.
What does blogging do for you?
Submitted by Madeleine Rose.
It provides a means for me to record important events/milestones, as well as a forum for discussing things of interest to me or current events. I've recently been very busy with microblogging on sites like Twitter, Pownce and Plurk!, which I admit take time away from regular blogging.
Do you believe in ghosts? If so, have you ever seen one?
I do think it's possible for a decedent's spirit to roam in search of what eluded them. I've never seen one and hope not to - ever. I'd be happy to live my life without a paranormal experience!
