Boo joined me on vacation this week and it has simply been wonderful! I love having Boo home with me and our time together makes all my days great.
We've been piddling around by going to bed late and arising after 8 a.m. (very late for us!) and doing whatever we choose. Thankfully Boo used work connections to rent a truck so we could pick up my mom's Mother's Day gift.
Yes, I'm late again. Last year I was early (like a month early) and in 2005 I was late. I jokingly told my mom that maybe next year I'll get it just right! LOL
After running around and seeing the enjoyment on mom's face when she saw her gift, we returned home to find my car had been sideswiped. It's bad enough that the driver's side bumper is pulled out, the turn signal section was wipred out and I can't open the driver's side door.
Will drive take the car to the auto body shop tomorrow and see what the monetary damage will be and how long the repair will take. After having such a good day and so much fun with Boo, I couldn't let this ruin it. It is a bummer though.
